Professional Growth

Get a discounted APC to publish in IJMS, a high quality journal with Impact Factor of 5.6. Compete in a Poster Competition for those early in their career. See presentations from top scientific researchers in the hydrogen industry.

Awareness

Promote your research to others and potentially increase your citations. Get your research and presentation in front of other top researchers to spread awareness of the great work you are doing. Lastly, increase the awareness of hydrogen as a potential therapeutic medical gas to the general public.

Collaboration

Through presentations, participants share their research findings and insights. This open exchange of knowledge fosters a collaborative environment where attendees learn from each other’s experiences and expertise. All presenters get access to the conference for free.

Presentation Ideas

Consider giving multiple presentations in the academic symposium, to the general public, or both. Presentations may vary ranging from 10 min to 45 min. Below are some ideas you could consider.

Academic Symposium Ideas

Promote your research to others and potentially increase your citations. Get your research and presentation in front of other top researchers to spread awareness of the great work you are doing.

What do you think academics who are not H2 researchers need to know about this area of research? Academics from diverse fields who are not directly involved in hydrogen (H2) research can benefit from understanding the broader implications and potential applications of this area of research.

Combining Ideas 1 and 2 in the same presentation can be highly effective in showcasing both the value of your own research and the broader significance of hydrogen (H2) research to academics from diverse fields.

General Public Ideas

This could be the same topic as what you present in the academic symposium. You may consider explaining various technical terminology such as free radicals, antioxidants, and other scientific jargon. Explain why your research matters, and what the potential significance of this is. These concepts academics may take for granted but their meaning/significance are not as clear to the general public.

Share more information about you, your background, how did you learn about hydrogen, why did you start this research, share life stories, where do you see hydrogen going in the future, etc. This will allow the audience to get to know the individuals behind the research.

Consider blending the technical side of hydrogen research with your personal stories. Explain your research in easy-to-understand terms while sharing why you’re passionate about hydrogen. By combining these elements, you can show how hydrogen research is both important and personal.

We would also encourage you to invite members of your lab to present by filling out the submission form. In this way, you can ensure that the research from your lab gets diverse exposure providing opportunities for many to participate.

Abstract Submission Process

Thank you for your interest in presenting at the H2 Summit! One speaker may present multiple times. Please submit an abstract for each presentation you would like to do. Keep in mind the audience you are presenting to when naming and preparing your presentation. Abstract submissions are subject to peer review from the organizing committee to help maintain the scientific integrity and accuracy of the presentations. Additionally, all accepted conference abstracts will be published in the IJMS Special Issue under the conference proceedings section. To submit your abstract, email it to events@molecularhydrogeninstitute.org. If your abstract is accepted, you will receive an email notification with instructions on preparing your pre-recorded presentation for the virtual summit.

all speakers of the h2 summit will receive a 20% Discount to submit an article to the special ISSUE: Physiology and Molecular Medicine of Molecular Hydrogen

FAQ’s

Abstracts should be submitted via email to events@molecularhydrogeninstitute.org. All accepted conference abstracts will be published in the IJMS Special Issue under the conference proceedings section. Please email us if you have any additional questions.

Yes, one speaker may present multiple times. An abstract (~250 words) must be submitted for each presentation. If giving a presentation to the academic audience, you are also encouraged to give a simplified shorter version for the general public. This is a great way to increase the awareness of hydrogen. You may consider highlighting your past work, current work, or current insights. We also invite speakers to publish their current findings in the special issue of IJMS. All abstracts will also be published in the IJMS conference proceedings.

Abstract submissions are still being accepted at this time.

Our event planners and organizing committee will review each abstract to maintain scientific integrity and accuracy.

You can download the Word Document which outlines all of the information needed for an abstract submissions. Abstracts are to be approximately 250 words and reflect the topic that you will be presenting on.

MHI has a learning platform (Thinkific) that allows us to upload videos and release the pre-recorded presentations on the day of the event. All presenters will be given VIP tickets free of charge to the Summit.

Presenters are welcome to present in their native language and we will have their presentation translated to English. Although this is a summit with worldwide participation, most of the presentations will be in English. All presentations that need translated need to be sent in by July 31, 2024 to give us enough processing time before the event.

Presentations are to be submitted in video format. Ensure you have a stable internet connection and a working microphone. The use of webcams are encouraged, but not required. We can help in minor video editing (such as splicing or combining). Please email us if you have any questions and be sure to check out this page for presentation submission processes.

You can decide to do your presentation in whatever way you are comfortable with. We have created this page for help and we are willing to help you in any way you need to make sure you feel comfortable with the process. We can help in minor video editing (such as splicing or combining). Please email us if you have any questions and be sure to check out this page for presentation submission processes.

Presentations can range from 10 to 45 minutes.
